Dubai is set to host 75 global sports events in December

Dubai Sports Council is collaborating to showcase a series of top-tier competitions, featuring events such as the Dubai Electric Scooter Championship, Emirates Dubai Grand Prix Sailing Championship (Sail GP), Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, Dubai International Fitness Championship, World Artistic Swimming League, Rhythmic Gymnastics Challenge Cup, International Gymnastics Cup, Gulf Classic Cars Championship, UAE Rowing Championship, Euro Cup Dragon Boat Race, and the Middle East Martial Arts Championship.

Swift Electric Scooters in Action

Scheduled for December 16 at Dubai Design District, the inaugural Dubai Electric Scooter Championship will feature elite riders showcasing the fastest electric scooters, reaching speeds exceeding 140 kmph on Dubai’s roads.

Sail GP’s Return to Dubai

On December 9 and 10 at Rashid Port, Sail GP will return to Dubai as the sixth leg of its fourth-season international series. Thirteen stages worldwide will see teams from Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Britain, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA compete.

Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens Spectacle

The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, commenced on Friday and concluding on Sunday at the Sevens Stadium, attracts over 5,500 male and female rugby players globally. Involving 420 teams from 28 countries, the championship includes various seven-a-side events like rugby, cricket, padel, netball, and fitness, drawing over 100,000 spectators.

Rhythmic Gymnastics Extravaganza

Set to transpire on December 13 & 14, the World Artistic Swimming League, featuring 200 swimmers, including Olympic medallists from 15 countries, will take place at the Hamdan Sports Complex, with participants vying for top honors.

Exhibition of Vintage Cars

From December 8 to 10, the Dubai Sports Autodrome will host the Gulf Classic Cars Championship. Subsequently, the Rhythmic Gymnastics Challenge Cup is slated for December 2 & 3 at Shabab Al Ahli Club in Al Nahda, followed by the International Gymnastics Cup.

Worldwide Fitness Battle

Today, Dubai Festival City hosts the Middle East Martial Arts Championship, joined by the Middle East Sailing Championship, National Day Rapid Chess Championship, and the Jungle Bell Martial Arts Championship, all set for the weekend.

The 11th edition of the Dubai International Fitness Championship, scheduled from December 8 to 10 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, will showcase top-notch professionals from across the globe showcasing their talents. A contingent of 60 participants (30 males & 30 females) will compete for a prize fund of Dh1.4 million.
