Days before the commencement of Senegal’s 2023 AFCON, Sadio Mane, a fellow player with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr, has married his longtime partner Aisha Tamba. The wedding ceremony took place on Sunday in Keur Massar, situated in the Senegalese capital of Dakar.
Photographs of Mane and his newlywed wife swiftly spread across social media. Aisha, originating from the Casamanca area of Senegal, has had ties with Mane since her adolescence, and the former Liverpool winger took on the responsibility of covering her educational expenses.

The official wedding photos were posted on Instagram by magvision_evens_officiel, a photography company. These pictures feature the couple posing against a flower-adorned background, with the wall bearing the inscription ‘Mrs Mane.’ According to reports, the event was attended by friends, family, and several of Mane’s colleagues from the Senegal national team.
Mane, who came back to Senegal at the beginning of the month to join the national team’s training camp for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, is gearing up for the tournament starting on Saturday. Additionally, the 31-year-old Al-Nassr player played a role in the opening ceremony of a stadium he constructed in his hometown of Bambali before reuniting with the Senegal squad.
After making a move from Bayern Munich to Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023, Mane has showcased his scoring prowess by tallying eight goals in 18 games for Al-Nassr this season. His effective partnership with Ronaldo in the offensive zone has been notable. Senegal holds high hopes that Mane can maintain this outstanding performance into the 2023 AFCON, especially as Aliou Cisse’s team is gearing up to commence their Group C campaign against Gambia on Monday.
