Despite facing offensive difficulties last week, the Raiders’ offense has staged an impressive comeback, taking command with a halftime lead of 42-0 Following the initial half against Los Angeles Chargers.
The Silver and Black put up seven points through a 12-play, 68-yard drive that concluded with a Zamir White rushing touchdown, marking the first time the Chargers allowed an opening drive touchdown this season. The Raiders widened their lead with a four-play, 42-yard drive resulting in a Tre Tucker touchdown.

Receiver Jakobi Meyers joined the scoring action with a 22-yard reception from quarterback Aidan O’Connell during the third drive of the game. The last time the Raiders scored on three consecutive drives was on November 1, 2015, against the Jets.
Continuing their explosive performance, the offense added two more touchdowns in the first half.
The Silver and Black defense sparked momentum by forcing the Chargers into a three-and-out on their initial drive. This marks the eighth occurrence this season that the Raiders have compelled their opponents to a three-and-out on the opening drive, the most in the NFL.
The defense continued its dominant performance, securing two sacks against Chargers quarterback Easton Stick and holding the offense to a mere 86 total yards in the first half.
Their impact extended to causing three fumbles, including one on special teams, and successfully recovering two of them. In the absence of Josh Jacobs, Zamir White embraced the “next man up” mentality, scoring his inaugural career touchdown on the opening drive.
However, he wasn’t the sole achiever of this milestone, as wide receiver Tre Tucker found the end zone twice – first with a deep 30-yard pass from O’Connell on the second drive and again with a 20-yard reception to conclude the first half.
The last occurrence of two offensive players scoring their first career touchdown in the same game for the Raiders took place in Week 2 of the 2015 season.
