Patrick Achi Commends CAF President for African Service

During his speech at the 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, Mr. Patrick Achi, the Prime Minister of Cote d’Ivoire, lauded Dr. Patrice Motsepe, the President of CAF, for his dedicated service to Africa, which he described as “selfless servanthood”

During the 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly, CAF revealed a notable rise in commercial revenues, reaching USD $125.2 million, indicating a 17% increase compared to the previous year.

Prime Minister Mr Patrick Achi expressed his deep appreciation to Dr. Motsepe, the President of CAF, for his instrumental role in shaping the future of African football. In his address at the Congress, he acknowledged and praised Dr. Motsepe’s daily dedication to serving Africa, underscoring the transformative impact of his leadership in modernizing and strengthening governance within CAF.

The Prime Minister commended CAF as a highly effective and influential organization committed to serving football and the youth of Africa. Furthermore, he recognized Dr. Motsepe’s track record of delivering tangible outcomes on the continent, expressing gratitude for his invaluable contributions to the world of football and acknowledging his presence at the assembly.

The Prime Minister also conveyed profound gratitude to both the President and the Secretary General for choosing Abidjan as the host city, which served as a testament to CAF’s confidence in Cote d’Ivoire, especially considering their upcoming responsibility of hosting the Africa Cup of Nations. The Prime Minister concluded by reiterating Cote d’Ivoire’s unwavering commitment to successfully organizing the CAF Africa Cup of Nations in January 2024.
