During the 100m final at the Miramar Invitational Meeting in Florida, Jamaican sprinter Shashalee Forbes encountered adversity when she suffered an injury while competing. “Today didn’t unfold as I had hoped. I sustained an injury during my 100m final. Grateful to @canonlybeme__ and @itsshacarri for rushing to assist me ♥️??,” Forbes shared.

Despite the setback, Forbes remained positive about her recovery and future performances.

“For those who have reached out, I’ll be alright by the grace of God. Just need to focus on recovery, and I’ll certainly come back stronger. ❤️,” she reassured her supporters.

She concluded with an inspiring message: “Remember, pain is temporary, and scars have stories to tell.”
