Nonetheless, during the UEFA Champions League draw, in which PSG ended up in a challenging group, club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi engaged in a discussion with RMC Sport’s Arthur Perrot regarding Mbappé’s future with the Parisian club.

Al-Khelaïfi remarked, “We still have more than 24 hours. Kylian remains a PSG player. We’ve had highly productive discussions with him, taking into account his exceptional qualities both as an individual and as a professional. We’ve also had conversations with the rest of his family. He went on to say, “There’s still over 24 hours left in the transfer window. We will exert every
effort to accomplish something. If it’s feasible, why not? Otherwise, we are prepared and in a good position.”
Pedrerol also brought attention to the frosty relationship between Real Madrid and PSG. Therefore, the Spanish juggernaut is leaning towards acquiring the winger when he becomes a free agent, avoiding discussions with the Paris-based club altogether.
As a result, Los Blancos are placing their bets on the player becoming a free agent, thus bypassing any financial obligations to PSG. Nonetheless, if the Frenchman opts to extend his contract, it raises an interesting question of whether Real Madrid will cease their pursuit.
