As Mike Tyson prepares for his first professional boxing match in nearly two decades against Jake Paul, a YouTuber turned fighter, the 58-year-old is eager to remind the world why he was once known as “the worst man on the planet.”
To younger fans who never saw him in his prime, Tyson has presented himself as a cheerful and approachable figure. But when the bell rings at AT&T Stadium on Friday, Tyson promises that the fierce “Iron Mike” will make a return at least for one night.

“I’m bringing the devil himself [to the ring],” Tyson declared to reporters during a workout ahead of his highly anticipated clash with Paul. Despite forming a friendship with Paul, Tyson clarified that his kindness should not be mistaken for weakness.
What to expect from a big age gap between the 2 fighters?
“There are no emotions involved,” Tyson stressed. “Even my mother should be cautious if she enters the arena with me. When it’s over, it’s over. But right now, my purpose is to hurt him. I hope he’s prepared to do the same; otherwise, he’s in trouble.”
Tyson, who is 31 years older than Paul, not only pledged to knock out his opponent but also stated that his aggressive approach would be so severe that his younger children, particularly his 16-year-old daughter Milan, would not recognize him.
“She saw me fight Roy Jones [in 2020], but she’s never seen anything like this,” he remarked. “My kids don’t believe I’m the baddest man alive. They view me as Dad, asking me to sit your old ass down. ” But come November 15, they’ll have a very different opinion of me.”
In the highly anticipated clash between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, fans can expect an electrifying mix of experience and showmanship. Tyson’s legendary ferocity meets Paul’s youthful bravado, promising a spectacle transcending generations. Whether it’s a masterclass in boxing or an unpredictable showdown, this fight is set to leave a lasting impression. Buckle up for a night where anything can happen!
